No extra holes or structural problems. Beautiful solid maple shell, with an interior date stamp of 3808 (August 1938). Original Duco finish has plenty of wear - see pics. Nickel plated hardware, nickel over brass rims. Bottom calf skin head and early Remo top head could use replacements, as could original Snappi style wires. Typical light dents in rims, one missing tension rod washer. Everything is fully functional. This is one of the warmest sounding snares you could imagine, just a beautiful, well-rounded tone!
